Megan Cornejo is our Technology Specialist and Special Projects Coordinator who grew up in the Traverse City/Leelanau area and loves the outdoors. Her cheerful nature inspires empathy and connection.
After graduating from Traverse City West in 2016, she pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Healthcare Administration from Alma College, graduating in 2020. During her time at Alma, Megan threw hammer, discus and weight toss on the Track & Field team and played in multiple bands including the Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, Drumline and Front Ensemble. Megan was also the Uniform Manager for the Kiltie Marching Band and concert bands from 2018 to 2020. While studying Healthcare Administration, Megan was privileged to attend several FEMA & NAACP conferences including the Emergency Management Higher Education Symposium (FEMA, June 2018 & 2019), Emergency Management & Disparities (FEMA, May 2019), and Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (NAACP, November 2019).
After graduating into the COVID-19 pandemic, Megan came home to Traverse City to begin her internship and find passion in a new career. Megan joined Wilson Kester the Empowered Divorce Source in August of 2022 as Intake Specialist and Legal Operations Assistant. In this position, she found a passion in helping those during a difficult and emotional time find empowerment to live the life they want and desire. She has found her niche as our Technology Specialist and Special Projects Coordinator helping us navigate the intersection of administration and client satisfaction.
Megan recently married her college sweetheart and spends time raising their beloved 4 dogs and assortment of poultry. When she’s not at work, you can usually find Megan gardening, playing with her dogs or taking care of her many chickens, ducks, quails and turkeys!
